Summertime and Hiatus time

Even though I originally committed to writing weekly blog posts, I realized about a month back that this is unrealistic for me at the moment and that when I do blog every week, my content suffers. It’s as if I’m putting quantity over quality and that is not how I want to write. I renegotiated the agreement I had made with myself and decided that going forward, I will be blogging every other week instead of weekly. What is important to me about blogging is putting out quality content that ads value to people’s lives. And although not every blog will ad value to every reader, if more often than not, you get something out of it, than I will consider it a successful effort.

Part of my original desire to blog was to share myself and what I have to offer with the world through writing. My intention was to be authentic with you, share some of my struggles as well as ways that I have overcome them or useful practices that help ease them.

At the moment, I am undertaking another writing project that has the same intent as above, yet will be delivered in a different way. I am currently working on writing copy for my new website, (as well as developing all other aspects of that site), which will be completed by mid August. My new site will be the platform for my Transformational Life and Relationship Coaching business.   My blog will move to my new site starting in August and if you want to continue to receive my writings and updates, sent out approximately twice per month, please sign up for my new mailing list at www.soullovetransformation.com.

In the coming months, in addition to officially launching my new business, I will also be celebrating a milestone birthday. I will be turning 40 on July 23rd. I am really excited about this birthday as it marks a new chapter in my life.   Unlike many people, I celebrate getting older because I equate it with being wiser as well. And the beauty is that you don’t have to choose between youth and wisdom, you can have both. We are only as old as we are at heart. I am and will always be young at heart. I do my best to keep an open and curious perspective around all things in my life. I also have many practices centered around self and body care that will assure I will feel good in my body, even as the years pass by. I am proud to say that as I approach this new decade, I am in the best shape of my life, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. The habits and practices I have incorporated into my daily routine, including meditation, movement, healthy eating practices, connection with an amazing group of people and work that I love, have made it possible for me to truly enjoy every passing day and celebrate the years as they come and go.

With my continued writing as well as my services as a transformational life coach, I welcome the chance to help you in all areas of your life as well.

While I am completing my new website and centering my writing around its content, I will not be posting any blogs. You can expect to hear from me again in August. Until then, here are 2 top ten lists from my blog. The first list is composed of my 10 personal favorites of the 33 blogs I have written so far. I chose them based on the value the inherent lessons have had in my life. The second list are the most read blogs on my site.
